This qualification reflects the role of individuals with significant experience in a
senior administrative role who are seeking to develop expertise across a wider
range of business functions.
The qualification is suited to individuals who possess significant theoretical
business skills and knowledge and wish to consolidate and build pathways to
further educational or employment opportunities. The Advanced Diploma of
Business is structured to provide advanced organisational, marketing, and
planning skills to meet the challenges of managing in the demanding business

Entry Requirements

This course has the following entry requirements:

  •  Be at least 18 years of age.
  •  Have an IELTS score of 5.5 or equivalent (test results must be no more
    than 2 years old) with 5.0 in each band.
  •  Successful completion of a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the
    BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions) OR
    two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an
    operational or leadership role in an enterprise
    Candidates will also be required to complete a pre-enrolment Candidate SelfAssessment as part of the application and participate in a course entry interview
    to determine suitability for the course.

Course Duration

One (1) year full time
Total Duration: 52 Weeks (including holidays and breaks)
Class sessions are planned to ensure that students have a mixture of practical
and theoretical components, and those classes cater for a wide variety of
learning styles. Additionally, workplace practices and environments are
simulated and used to conduct skills-based assessments in accordance with unit
requirements. Classes will be scheduled for 20 hours per week
