Age & Academic Criteria
- Must be 18 years or older at the time of application.
- Completion of Australian Year 11/12 or an equivalent qualification.

English Language Proficiency
- IELTS 6.0 (Academic or General) or equivalent, as per DOHA regulations.
- Online IELTS is NOT accepted. Refer to DOHA English Language Requirements.
- Applicants must complete a Language, Literacy & Numeracy (LLN) test before training

- Heavy lifting and manual labour

Technology & Digital Skills
Students must bring a laptop with a camera, speaker, internet access, and updated software (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Reader). Basic digital skills—email, online research, and using Office tools—are expected. Applicants lacking these may be assessed individually. To achieve this qualification, a total of 28 units of competency must be completed:
🔹 20 core units (compulsory)
🔹 8 elective units, which may be selected from:
– Group A – Traditional and Heritage Bricklaying
– Group B – Refractory Bricklaying
– Group C – Paving
– General elective units
Elective Selection Guidelines:
- Elective units may be chosen from specialist groups (A, B, or C), or the general elective list.
- A maximum of 2 elective units may be selected from other currently endorsed Training
- Packages or accredited courses, provided they:
– Contribute to a valid, industry-supported vocational outcome, and
– Align with the AQF Level 3 of this qualification.
Prerequisite Units:
Units marked with an asterisk (*) have prerequisites that must be completed before or concurrently. All required prerequisites are included within the qualification packaging.
