Application

Complete an enrolment form online at www.NVC.edu.au or download and email it to admissions@nvc.edu.au.

Requirements

Submit proof of date of birth, prior studies, and English proficiency (if applicable).

Support

Contact admissions for assistance with your application.

TIP: Apply early to secure your place and allow time for visa processing.

Orientation Program

All students attend a mandatory orientation.

Purpose

Learn about NVC’s facilities, services, policies, procedures and programs?

Support

Get advice on accommodation, transportation and local activities.

Contact

Provide the office number and not the personal number. The position should be Student Support Officer.

NVC ensures fair, compliant assessment processes and provides options for enrolment changes when needed. 

Tip: Always discuss enrolment changes with NVC’s academic team to understand your options.

Assessment

We use appropriate tools to meet training package requirements and fairly evaluate your skills and knowledge.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

You can apply for RPL during enrolment by completing an RPL Application Form with admissions support.

Credit Transfer

Submit evidence of prior studies to receive credit towards your course. Tip: Gather certificates and transcripts early to make RPL or credit transfer easier.

Deferral, Suspension & Cancellation

Enrolment changes can be made in limited cases, either by you or NVC. If changes are initiated by NVC, you have the right to appeal. For full details, please see the Deferring, Suspending or Cancelling Enrolment Policy.

Transfer Restrictions

International students must stay with NVC for the first 6 months of their principal course: Policy: Transfers before 6 months are restricted per ESOS Standard 7. See the Transfer Request Assessment Policy. Process: Submit a transfer request for review after 6 months.

Family & Dependants

You may bring eligible family members—your spouse (married or cohabiting 12+ months) and unmarried children under 18. School-aged dependants must enroll in school, with fees estimated at AUD $8,000–$15,000 per year (2025). Budget accordingly and check the Department of Home Affairs for visa conditions and requirements.

Language, Literacy & Numeracy

NVC supports students’ language, literacy, and numeracy (LLN) needs:

Free Classes: Enroll in Support English classes during your course.

  • Adjustments: Delivery and assessment methods are tailored to individual needs for fair success.
Tip: Discuss LLN needs with your course coordinator to access tailored support.
